Abilene State Park 2013
Such a fun place for families around here or those traveling to our area.
The Yurts ($50 per night) are air-conditioned enclosures with room for 6.
There are 8 of these in the middle of the park.
The oaks are everywhere with deer and wildlife coming right to the door of your campsite.
Keep trash safely enclosed.. Raccoons are such bandits!
The group buildings are great for reunions or birthday parties, dances, or whatever you might want to do with a larger group of folks. There are grills and tables at every rentable place.
Beside the yurts and also across the road from the newest restroom/shower facility are the screened shelters ($18 per night). These have no electricity or A/C, but allow an upclose and personal viewing spot for the beauty around you.
There are nature trails, fishing in Abilene Lake, and swimming until Labor day.
Come to Tuscola and enjoy the Abilene State Park...
